Visonic and Orisec are two of the alarm makes Dean works with most. Visonic is best known for its wireless systems, and Orisec makes wired and wireless panels, keypads and bell boxes that are widely fitted in UK homes.
Whether you want a new Visonic or Orisec system, or an existing one serviced, repaired or brought back under your control, DF Alarms covers Wigan and the towns around it. And if your alarm is a different make entirely, that is fine too: any make, any model can be serviced.
What we do on Visonic and Orisec systems
Panel beeping or showing a fault?
A beeping Visonic or Orisec panel is usually reporting a trouble condition rather than an alarm: a low battery in a sensor or the panel, a wireless device that has lost contact, a power cut or a tamper fault. The keypad normally says which.
Take a photo of the message and ring 07506 518 646. Dean can often tell you over the phone what it means, and fix the cause rather than just silencing it.

Any make, any model serviced
Visonic, Orisec or something else entirely, fitted by Dean or by a company that closed years ago: every service comes with 12 months’ free call-out cover for faults (parts not included).
Visonic and Orisec questions
All questionsWill you service or repair an alarm someone else fitted?
Yes. A lot of the alarms we look after were fitted by another company, sometimes one that no longer exists. Most systems can be serviced, repaired or brought back under your control, and if a panel really has had its day we will tell you honestly and quote for an upgrade.
Do wireless alarm sensors need new batteries?
Yes, every few years. Each wireless sensor and contact has its own long-life battery, and the panel warns you well before one runs flat, usually with a message on the keypad and a beep. Batteries are checked and replaced as part of an alarm service.
My Visonic or Orisec alarm keeps beeping. What does it mean?
A beeping panel is usually reporting a trouble condition rather than an alarm: a low battery in a sensor or the panel, a wireless device that has lost contact, a power cut, or a tamper fault. The keypad normally shows which. Dean can read the fault, fix the cause and clear it so it stops.
